This weekend I am going to my first long course meet in almost 18 years. I have been to three short course meets this season and I'm trying to get a gauge on what kinds of times to expect this weekend in the long course pool. I have done some calculations using Colorado Swimming's Course and Altitude Conversion Calculator (www.csi.org/coursealti.asp) and I have surmised that I should add about 1 second to my 50 metre times and 2 seconds to my 100 metre times. Does that sound about right?
