  • Ande: Good luck this weekend at the meet. Mark Foster is now in masters so you guys might not be the fastest masters. Mark set World Records in Long Course this past year in the 50 Free (22.76) and the 50 Fly (24.70) in the 35-39 age group. In fact, his 50 Fly record is faster than the 30-34 age group and that record is by Gary Hall Jr. at :24.91. It will be interesting to see how Michael Phelps swims. Will he final in the 50 Free? Will he break the great record of Tom Dolan in the 400 IM and go below 3:38.00? Will he break the record in the 200 IM by Ryan Lochte at 1:41.76 and go under 1:41.00? How will he do in the 200 Fly? Can he improve the 1:41.72 record that he has? Ryan Lochte did an impressive 1:42.03 at the SEC Championships. Also I see he is entered in the 200 Back in a rematch with Aaron Piersol. This is the first time he swam this in a big meet since the 2004 Long Beach Olympic Trials when he lost to Aaron Piersol. Will Jason Lezak get first in the 50 or 100 with this great international field? Will USMS and American Record holder Nick Brunelli win the 50 and 100? I wonder how Ian Crocker will do? Its too bad there is no TV coverage for this meet? I am surprised that Fox Sports or OLN didn't go after this and show it taped delayed like they are doing with some of the College Conference meets.
