I've been wanting to ask this question for a long time and decided to ask it when seeing the poll on the best music for long distance swimming.
I just changed my playlist this morning. Have some Beastie Boys, Evanescence, some STP and a little Run-DMC.\
I usually change it about once a week. Or, if I get board with the playlist, sooner than that.

Oh man, where to begin. I have some hip-hop/rap, pop, rock, classic rock, 50's and 60's oldies, 30's and 40's Big Band, Folk (Jim Croce and Mr. Cash). In addition to music I have some Seinfeld comedy and a few CD's of The Jerky Boys. There are also about 30 episodes of Seinfeld and some various Will and Grace and Scrubs episodes in the video portion. I keep a lot of stuff on my iPod. Roughly 1600 songs and about 60 videos.
Some of my Top 25 are:
Black Eyed Peas
Missy Elliott
Michelle Branch
Gwen Stefani
Outkast
Avril Lavinge
Coldplay
Gorillaz
Elton
Johnny Cash
Steely Dan
Glenn Miller Orchestra-"In The Mood" is one of my favorites!
I don't have an iPod, but I'll gladly except donations.
Right now I'm listening to Jamie Foxx "Unpredictable" and Jay-Z "The Black Album"....in my old-fashioned CD player.:( When I have meets though, it's mostly heavy rap or hard rock.
Let's see what's in my iPod playlists:
U2 and lots of it! (not a surprise to the people that know me)
Dido
REM
Eminem
Dance music
Madonna
and lots of random mixes :)
