Swam with the age groupers today, coached by "Hop" (Steve Hopkinson). Mark Doyle and I shared a lane, as usual. Our Masters team has workouts Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings. Warm up: 600 free 300 pull 300 drill/kick Pre set: 8x75 @ 1:05, a mix of swim, kick, and drill Main set: 4x100 @ 2:00, hold 1:10 or better (I averaged 1:08) 6x25 @ :25 alternate fly/free 3x100 @ 2:00, hold 1:05 or better (I averaged 1:04) 6x25 @ :25 alternate back/free 2x100 @ 2:00, hold 1:00 or better (I went 1:00.2 and 1:00.5) Warm down: 200 easy Total: 3200 yards My 14 year old daughter, who is gaining on me, swam in the lane next to us and stayed with us on the first 4 100s. She had to get out early for school and didn't finish the set.
