Hi
I am writing an article for Swimmer Magazineabout the benefits of water exercise for competitive swimmers and cross-training for athletes, and would like to interview swimmers or triatheletes who use water exercise as part of their training. I am also an avid masters swimmer. I can be reached by email at ahw12@columbia.edu
I look forward to hearing from you,
Amy

Well, I am only 1 year into this game. It is quite possible that I will be attending meets by myself if I keep it up.
I think because we had 5 years of age group meets BEFORE I started competing, no one wanted to go to a Masters meet. And after running the computer at 6 sessions of an age group meet this past weekend, I don't want to be at another meet myself for awhile(unless I could see Geek/Gull duel!)
To be fair, my husband went to my one and only long course meet. After waiting for a gentleman who decided to swim the 200's of each stroke, and each one took him 15 minutes or there abouts to swim, my husband was wishing to be anywhere else. The meet directors got smart on the guys 400 IM and put him in an outside lane, and had the other heats swim while he swam.
And it did show the spirit of Masters, he was very proud of his accomplishment of swimming all those 200's. I sure didn't do it!
