The best thing to do is to avoid breaststroke like the plague ....and then you won't have to worry about what suit to wear.

Definitely jammers for me. I've tried every combination and the stopwatch says jammers. As to those who can't swim breaststroke, you don't know what you're missing.
I've done okay wearing kneeskins. Maybe the trick is to keep the knees together so you don't pull in much extra stuff (water, air, whatever) into the crotch region.
Guess that's "other"?
I guess the best for you is the one that makes you faster in the water.
But again, if you want to go fast... forget about breaststroke.
Sorry :D

It seems like the legskins and bodyskins will take away from leg propulsion if they are as slick as mentioned.
OK, I'll chime in.
Briefs are better because you can feel the force of the water on the kick. It helps on breaststroke more than any other.
I wore a jammer once on a breaststroke race and the seam near the knee kept shifting. Couldn't focus on anything else. And the suit was a pretty tight fit, which felt weird on my legs.
I hate breaststroke. while it only takes me 10 to 11 strokes to get through a 25yd pool. they are the slowest and hardest strokes I do during a workout.
I would think that briefs woudl be the best then jammers. Certainly nothing that is going to hinder the knee movement.
