Has anyone heard that if you stop for more then 15 seconds that you lose the aerobic part of a workout? I read that some where and am wondering. I am mean stopping at the end of the lane and talking ect for more then 15 seconds then continuing the workout. Please Delete, I posted last night and did not see this post. Just now I see it so this is a second post.

That sounds like nonsense to me. It presumes that all of us are exactly alike in both heart and metabolism. I say this because if your heart-rate is zoning at around 170 BPM or above, you need longer than a 15 second rest. If your heart is barely thumping at 110, then obviously you need to swim more. I say ask your heart
