Holiday Traditional sets???

The one thing that puts me in a grouchy mode over the holidays is the annual tradition in Utah to do 100 x 100 on New Year's Eve Day. After doing this set 4 times in college I just can't bring myself to doing this set again, no matter how excited all the other swimmers are about completing this set. We have a few swimmers here that have been doing this for more than a decade. I would love to hear of other tradition sets and what people enjoy and dislike about them.... I may be a tile counter "distance swimmer" when I race, but this is one set I have counting tiles during.

Thought you might like to see what we all looked like after our New Years Eve "I'll Never Do This Again" Swim. Our Academy Masters Swim Team combined with the HPA HS Swim Team and we all did 100 send-offs on 1:30. Took us 2 1/2 hours with about half the group doing 100 100s. I ended up alternating 100s with 75s; can't quite hold that many 100 repeats on 1:30 yet. Next year!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
