ok well i am new here to this board, but i have a really silly question and i have been out of the swimming loop for a almost 10 years and i have just recently started back working out in the pool and have been looking for good works outs online and on most of the works outs have the warm up set ,main set and warm down , and what not but i have noticed on some of the works works i have looked at , some say do 200 pull.... now here is my stupid question (and really i should know this but my mind is drawing a big fat blank on this one lol!) so can some one please tell me what a pull drill is or if there are pull drills i can do with the other storkes besides *** stroke! thanks. god i hope i made some senese here if i haven't sorry about that but i am really tired right now and i have been looking for hours for an explantion of "Pulls"! ok any who thanks for the help!

The glossary gives the definition of pull buoy for pull. I think the pull you're looking for is referring to just the arms...the part of the stroke that pulls you through the water. A common pull drill for breaststroke is doing just the arms with a dolphin kick. As for the other strokes theirs tons of drills you just have to look. Do a search on this forum or on the internet and you'll find loads of stuff. The most common pull drill (IMO) would be doing just arms with a pull buoy.
