Has anyone seen Bruce Howell? He was a nationally ranked breaststroker, he used to swim Masters for Shore Acquatics a few years back. I'm trying to locate him, I lost touch with him.

Bruce used to swim age group and HS in Michigan and his brother Andy, is one of the USA Swimming Officials here in Michigan. I believe the last time I talked to him he said he was still in southern California. I don't think he has swam competitively in USMS since 1997. I will see Andy next week and get back to you.
By the was are you the same Michael Martin that swam for U Cal-Irving from 1968 to 1971?

Bruce Howell is doing fine in Huntington Beach, CA. He is not currently swimming competitively, but probably works out on occasion. His main love is beach volleyball, which he plays regularly. He also likes to golf once in a while.
I spoke to him a little bit this summer, and he may get ready for Worlds, but will probably wait to age up in 2 years before competing again.
