then click on "Owners"
then click on "Find Property"
then click on the state you live in or lived in or the one you want to search
then do a search at the state's site
check cities you used to live in
former names, parents, grand parents and friends
you're bound to find something that belongs to someone.

If you ever get a notice from a business saying they've found property that belongs to you deal directly with the state and avoid paying their finders fee.
