  • The 100 *** time for Ivan Barnes is correct. He swam that time at the Texas Invite. Heck of a fast time for this point in the season. Remember Simon Burnett swam a 1:32 200 free last year at this point in the season. Yeah, I was impressed by that 100 *** swim by Peter VDK, too, Jim. Let's face it, the kid's a stud. The 400 IM and 100 *** show his versatility, but I'm equally impressed at how fast he can swim at all distances in free. At Texas he swam a 1:33 200 free, a 14:48 1650, and anchored Michigan's 400 free relay with a :43.5!!
