Labrum tear in shoulder

I read several e-mails hear about repairing Labrum tears in shoulders. I have a labrum tear and am considering acupuncture instead of orthroscopic surgery. Has anyone heard whether or not acupuncture can repair a labrum tear? Thank you, ECE
