Don't use black. When I get a t-shirt from a postal and it is black, it immediately goes into my pile of t-shirts I never put on. they are hot & itchie

I saw a shirt this weekend at a swim meet that said something like...."The meek may inherit the earth....but they will NEVER rule the water!".....Not exactly politically correct....but I liked it anyway.......I wonder if you could get sued though for using a catch phrase that has already been used before?....If so then you will have to not only rule out mine...but you will most likely also have to rule out all of the suggestions MikeB made (and the one Hoosier made)? Why not steal the quote from the 2006 Check-Off Challenge? (See graphic On the USMS home page) That's pretty good... OK, here are a few others, overheard somewhere or another: - If it ain't skin tight, it don't fit right - Swimmers do it in Lycra - Real athletes don't wear shoes - I swim, therefore I.M. - We put the Style in Freestyle I can't imagine that there would be a problem using any of these quotes, they've all been around for so darn long, they're sure to be on countless teams' shirts all over the world...

Those are great! Here's one of my personal favorites: "When the going gets tough, the sprinters get out." (no offense to the sprinters out there...really) ;) I'm just secretly jealous that I can't sprint my way out of a paper bag, but give me a set of 6 x 400 any day!

Thaks for the replys everyone. i think we have decided on... Some swimmers take their marks...others leave them. I know its not exactly the one we were given but we are trying to please a team of 30 :-/ not easy. thanks again for all the responses, they are all highly appricated.

Men's team or women's team (or both)? How about these: Swimmers Know All the Best Strokes Only Wimps Need Time Outs Some take their marks.. others leave them! If you can't swim with sharks...Stay out of the pool! Just 'cause you swim doesn't make you a swimmer Swimmers like it Wet! Hmm...maybe some better ones will come to me in time...
