My friend Kim Hiss is researching an article for a women's magazine on the health benefits of exercising during pregnancy. If any of you female masters swimmers are currently pregnant and swimming, or have been so in the past, she would love to do a phone interview on your experience.
If you could, please contact Kim directly at kimberly.hiss@time4.com
(She's also an editor at Field and Stream magazine, but she's already found 20 women who have gone deer hunting while pregnant, so this base is covered.)
Thanks
thanks, guys. I remember when I swam in St. Paul, we had an elite woman swimmer on our team who swam, hard, until about 2 weeks before both her sons were born (and both came out robustly healthy.) It really amazed me, but I guess the human body adapts to almost anything.
