While I would never contemplate swimming in either of these events, a breastroker buddy pointed out that, according to the currently posted schedule, there is no 200 *** or fly at the upcoming masters world championships. Is this a typo on their website? If not, does anyone know why these events are not being offered.
The 100 IM wasn't a pre-arranged challenge. The Smiths and I happened to sign up for it. I won, though John and Paull gave me a scare on the fly, and John did his best through the backstroke. It was all over after the breaststroke pullout.
