I recently swam my first meet in over 20 years and one of the areas I found that needed the most improvement was my Backstroke Start. Presently it's can be characterized as either a "bellyflop on my back" or "how much water can I push back"
I can't seem to get clearance and my feet slip - My goal is to be able to clear most of my body out of the water and "dive" in with my fingertips.
Any and all advice is appreciated.
