Can someone explain to me redshirting on a sports team? I have a general jist, I think, but it's escaping my memory right now.

I’m not sure I understand your scenario… The factors that determine your eligibility are: Your age, When you graduate High school The number of semesters you have attended any college The numbers of years you participated in any varsity sport. I'm going to e-mail the coach once I know for sure that I'm going to be able to go...I just wanted a good background knowledge. As for the others...I'm 19, graduated in '04, been in college 2 semesters (at a different university from the one I'm going to with the team) and never played any varsity sports...high school or college. If that was need to know or helps at all....but I thought I'd say just in case. :p
