I woke up this morning to see the world goings on (estimte of over 40,000 dead) this morning on TV and am saddened by the greif that the Pakistannis and Indians are going through and remember some of the great Pakistanni and Indian friends I had met over the years at the Olympics and Commonwealth Games.
I have not paid to swim for the last four months to swim in a pool because of our families delemas which pales in comparison. I am going to send my four months swimming fees approx $150 to a relief organization.

We had a woman from Austria injured in a hit and run accident here in Seattle. Made me think of Markus Rogan (Austrian swimmer). Don't know how big swimming is over there but I feel the need to send a card to this woman's family.
She was just a tourist and now she's in a coma in critical condition...
