When you're cleaning out the fridge after practice is better to get the protien or carbs? I find myself always craving protien after practice, especially a hard one. Does it make a difference to muscle recovery what you eat? Thanx!!

when i spent a summer in Dublin, Ireland i swam with a masters team there. Interestingly enough, the pool (it was a sports club) had a bar on the second floor. nothing like killing the chlorine taste with a nice Guinness or Smithwicks that was only a flight of stairs away!
I'm rather amused by the beer part F'ueco...I totally would drink one after practice...but I'm guessing drinking before class isn't the smartest thing to do! Damn those morning pratices... ;)
