When you're cleaning out the fridge after practice is better to get the protien or carbs? I find myself always craving protien after practice, especially a hard one. Does it make a difference to muscle recovery what you eat? Thanx!!

I hope you guys were kidding about the beer. :) I really would not drink beer as part of the post workout carb source. As Geochuck pointed out, you should get slow carbs. There is a difference between good (complex) carb and bad (simple carb). Simple carb gives you sudden surges and drops of engery. Unused simple carbs will be converted into fat easily. Sugar is the most common form of simple carbs.
