no..not the kind you'd like to experience with that annoying lane mate or that coach who keeps giving you sets of 10 x 200 backstroke....I'm talking about the sports drink....!
I can't do a workout longer than an hour without some kind of caloric intake after the first hour. I usually suck down a packet of Gu or PowerAid...this time I decided to try Revenge - powdered drink that you mix with water. I actually liked the taste - not too sweet, etc. However....and I'm sure this is more info than you're all prepared to read on a Monday morning...but let's just say I've been spending more time in the ladies room than at my desk! Anyone else out there experience stomach upset with Revenge?!

bitwiz....didn't take it that way at all! Any advice is helpful...
I swim in the morning so I have to wake up an hour beforehand and eat a piece of toast with peanutbutter. If I don't, I bonk for sure. The combo of carbs and protein really get me through an hour workout. If I stay in longer, I have to have more calories. So what I do is eat a packet of gel when I'm in the water for longer than an hour.
If I eat too much fruit I'll bonk! :eek:
