  • The drill that helped me the most was underwater dolphin kick (no pulling). Once I got a more efficient kick and body undulation, I realized that my arm pull-and-recovery were opposite where the should have been (compared to the body motion). By getting more coordinated, it took a lot of the stress off the shoulders and the arms.
