Okay, I am doing pretty well at 500 yards - I am not winded or out of breath at the end of the workout.
My pool is closed for the next week and a half for cleaning (the whole YMCA shuts down).
When I go back, I was thinking about doing two 750 yard swims 6 days a week. How does this sound for fat burning and toning?
Good idea or not?

Right now I'm doing about 350 breastroke, 50 butterfly, 100 freestyle. What do you recommend trying for my new workout? Remember, I am still a big fella - 290.
