I need a way to let out some anger safely, and I figure doing it during my swim tomorrow is a good enoug way. Any suggestions? (Background: I just got a new car two weeks ago - my first one - and today it was dented by some ******* in a parking lot. Two golfball sized dents and streaks of white paint. And I have to pay for the repairs myself. I'm so depressed and angry at the same time.....)

My ways of letting anger out are swimming with a closed fist and punching the water --sometimes I imagine certain individuals, but not often... Big kicks and exploding off the wall on turns. Butterfly is also great to get out anger and frustration! Blast from the imagination past: I used to pretend I set off a bomb and swim really fast to the other side to get away. Hey, swimming can get pretty boring after the 10,000 flip turn! P.S. I can't tell you how many times I have beaten the entire East German swim team or won against hungry sharks --in my mind!
