Help!
I'm trying to aquire the motivation to swim daily...well six days a week, one day of rest. I need to lose around 50 pounds by winter, but I still can't get myself in the pool.
I don't know why. I guess a few reasons could be:
(1) Social anxiety
(2) People seeing how fat I am
(3) Failing
Can someone help me gain motivation to get into the pool so I can improve my life?

30 seconds? Really? For a 50? I suppose it's possible, but that would make you faster than some (div 3) female college swimmers in a competition. Odd. Did you have previous swimming experience? If you're retuning to the sport instead of starting at it new, that would explain it, I guess.
