Help!
I'm trying to aquire the motivation to swim daily...well six days a week, one day of rest. I need to lose around 50 pounds by winter, but I still can't get myself in the pool.
I don't know why. I guess a few reasons could be:
(1) Social anxiety
(2) People seeing how fat I am
(3) Failing
Can someone help me gain motivation to get into the pool so I can improve my life?

I went swimming the other day - things went OK. I have a little pain in my knee from the breasktroke kick, but otherwise, I'm fine. I swam 500 yards, 100 freestyle, 400 breastroke. I was a little sore today.
I plan to go tomorrow. Every other day seems like a good starting point for now.
