Are there any other great swimming related disussion forums that you could recommend? I know USMS does a great job, but I noticed that some of the other bulletin boards at other non-USMS sites are light on content. If so, could you please recommend?

I think a discussion forum is as good as the people that contribute to it. Every swim forum I have been on has some great discussion and then some not so great discussion. Is a matter of interpretation. I personally like this forum and contribute to it because I am a member of this organization and I personally know some of the people I chat with. I have been known to contribute in a positive manner and also have been known to get down and dirty. Hopefully I don't do the latter very much at all.
I cruise a lot of swimming discussion forums and read a lot of threads about swimming. I only contribute here because I feel personally connected to the organization and like for the most part how USMS forums run and the people that contribute to them. About the most off the wall forums I have read about swimming threads have been over at ESPN. To get there go to www.espn.com and then hit Olympic Sports in the left index. When you get to Olympic Sports hit message boards. I have never read any of the swimming threads on there that is not stupid or ridiculous.
