Are Triathletes worth the dues they pay toward Masters Swimming?
I say we force all Triathletes to spend one day a week in the sprint lane, one day a week doing stroke (i.e. IM) work, and then make them focus on their starts and turns.
This invasion needs to be controlled.... :-)

Yeah, what's up with that? I can't seem to get anyone to work on ONE STROKE in 30 minutes, never mind one correction, and I'm the student. Perhaps my bad swimming is really so boring they're hoping that if we go through all the strokes really fast they'll find SOMETHING I can do tolerably well.
Things happen so fast in 30 minutes, we can go from an almost none swimmer to a swimmer who can breathe correctly in a 30 minute time frame. I have to slow them down to work on what they learned in 30 minutes. When I am in Mexico half the people I work with only speak Spanish and I do not speak Spanish very well, but they can accomplish it well. I teach by touch and demonstration.
