Are Triathletes worth the dues they pay toward Masters Swimming?
I say we force all Triathletes to spend one day a week in the sprint lane, one day a week doing stroke (i.e. IM) work, and then make them focus on their starts and turns.
This invasion needs to be controlled.... :-)

I think much of the tri and nooodler bashing is just tongue in cheek.
Hoosier you don't have to be gifted from childhood to swim well and strong. It just takes an awful lot of hard work. Pick an antagonist and focus your training on an event you both do and improve your times against them.
The BS Cameraderie is what makes this site great. If it was just techincal analysis and statistics it wouldn't have the feel of "belonging" to an association. At least that's my view. Maybe this thread is NSR but I don't think it was ever serious.
I'll swim with anyone provided they at least do laps so I know where they'll be (approximately).
