Swim.com app won't allow me to change privacy settings. Help?

I would like to enter a fitness challenge, so I downloaded the Swim.com app. I am trying to change my privacy settings to enter the challenge, however, the app won't let me. When I click on "New Swim," "Public" is in gray and I am unable to click on it. "Private" seems to be my only option, even though my profile is not private. Will you please help? Thanks!

Elaine Krugman this is the screen that I see when I manual try and add a new workout. The Privacy is a toggle. I am not sure if you need to update the app or if you are taking a different action. The Swim.com support would be the best to answer this is updating the app doesn't work.

Kyle, I edited my manual entry and turned off private, but I am trying to join the August Fitness Challenge, and when I click on "Join Challenge" it is now telling me to link my accounts. They ARE linked, and that has been confirmed in My Swim Feed on usms. How do I join this challenge then??? I am logged into USMS on my phone and my membership is current. I also just downloaded Swim.com yesterday, so it is current.
