TN did have one heck of a swim program back then...and...if my old Moose memory is not going to far south...I believe TN was Nat. Champs in swimming in the early 80's. Marc Forman was a 200 back SCM WR holder and swam on TN's Nat. Championship team along with some other very fast swimmers.....No one can take anything away from TN...but in the long run....TX & SMU ruled in those days.....
