We need to have a Texas 101 class on rivalries.
Texas.... the real Univ. of Texas
Texas A&M..... the jealous maroon headed step child
SMU....... little spoiled rich school in Dallas
Many moons ago, Texas and SMU had a huge rivalry in swimming. The Southwest conference was ruled by the two schools for decades.
Lundquist = SMU = Dallas
Texas = UT = Austin
It's like matter and antimatter. You don't want to mix the two together........... ever.
