Do any of you have any recommendations for top notch pool/aquatic center designers/builders who would be available for a project in Southern California, including at least one fifty meter comp pool?

While I have no direct experience with this firm you should look at Counsilman-Hunsaker: http://www.chah2o.com
They've done a lot of pools for many years around the country.
Also suggest you find a pool that you really like, shouldn't be a problem in Southern CA, and find out who did the design.
