  • I don't know if SFF has helped richard, He's been swimming fast for years. It's because of who he is and how he trains. He was fast in college, I think he went 21 point something in the 1960's. Richard has figured out how to correctly train for sprints and he puts in the work, both in the pool and with his strength training. montgomery punched an impressive 100 at Nats he wasn't nearly as fast at zones in april. ande Originally posted by valhallan Ande, Richard Abrahams is amazing. I wonder how much training he does. He must have been reading your faster faster writings. :) I noticed under the men's 100 free results a swimmer from the past,...with an infamous achievement. Is that the Jim Montgomery who was the first man ever under 50 seconds for the LCM 100 meter free? His age would seem about right. It was the '76 Olympiad. ___________________________ Val
