How can I figure out how many miles I am doing? How do I convert when the coach says we're swimming a 3200? I know this should be easy but can't remember since it's been a while.
One mile is 1760 yd. or 5280 ft. It's only slightly more than 1600 Meters ,therefore unless you are swimming Meters it won't be an even number of lengths.
