REVERSE shoulder replacement - return to swimming?

has anyone been able to return to swimming for training and short course triathlons following reverse shoulder replacement?

Have run out of management options with arthritic shoulder and constant pain.

    Hi Carol,

    A friend of mine, very good distance and open water swimmer, had a reverse shoulder replacement in Jan 2021.  He was back swimming after about 6 months although he has some weight lifting restrictions. His was done at a Mayo clinic in Jacksonville (FL).

    As you probably know by now, these are trickier than regular shoulder replacements.  So, makes sense to work with a surgeon who does alot of them for best possible results.
