I don't mean 'smell blood' figuratively.
When I do hard sprints, after a few of them, I can smell blood when I exhale.
Not rally strong smell, but enough to notice, and know what it is.
Anyone else gets this?

I raced in pro marathon swim circuit. Money was OK I could make $50.000 from July to mid September in the 60s. I also ran a swimming school where we had a little over 4000 registratin a year. Yes it is good to make money from something you love. I do swim clinics in Mexico in the winter Nov to April and charge $300 per person. I love what I do and it gives me coffee money.

Yea, I think I tend to push a little too hard.
According to my heart-rate, I am.
Which is sort of frustrating, because my 'too hard' isn't all that much! *sigh*
Seems like it'll never get better.
(sorry, I'm grunting and whining for a moment)
I think I need a new body! ;)
The puking feeling is rare. The last time I remember having that feeling for real was quite awhile ago at an intrasquad meet, I actually did puke but that was because I did an all out 200, then followed it immediately with an all out 50 fly, chugged (and I mean chugged Gatorade) and did another race all out. I just puked up the Gatorade I just had.
I push myself hard in workouts, but again, the puking feeling very rare, I think that pushing yourself that hard ON OCCASION is ok.
