For you Mr. Moose

While working on plural forms of words one day, a student came up to ask me about "moose". I told him to think awhile and then show me what he came up with. His first answer was "mooses". I told him to try again. Second answer "meese". No, try again. Third time coming up to my desk, in the quiet of the class working, he had had it. He didn't get it. He had a painful look on his face and was grasping at straws "moosies?" I busted out laughing because I thought it was so cute. So much for a quiet class!
