I could make a strong case for the 400 IM...
Either that or the 200 Fly. Those always seem to be the two most often brought up in these discussions.
I could make compelling arguments for the 1000/1650 frees, 200 back, 200 free, or 400 IM :)
400 IM LCM, especially after a several hour rain delay and no warm up. Never again!
Gotta be the 200 free. It is, to borrow from one of my athletes, the most sublime event---in that it is both beautiful and existentially horrifying.
