Swimming, weight, speeding up etc...

An update... About a year and a half or so ago is when I first started to swim, masters, or any other kind of competetive swimming. I never swam competetively or had any athletic training as a kid, actually spent that time being rather overweight and out of shape. I think my first timed swim was 1:52 SCY a year and a half ago... 1:58 LCM Fast forward to now... I'm about 10 pounds away from my target weight (lost 38 lb so far), fitting into size 6 pants, one more size to go... I'm slowly developing more swimming muscle. :) We just had our LMSC SCY championships, and I did all personal best times. 8 events, 8 PB's Managed to shave 6 seconds off my 100 free, from 1:20 down to 1:14. My coach is all excited, thinks I'll be doing 1:10's pretty soon. Dropped 4 minutes off my 1650... when I saw the time, I thought I had missed a lap... or two. Year and a half ago 1:15's seemed impossible! I'm rather happy with the way it's going, and thought I'd share the excitement with you guys!
