First of all seagurl....Congrats on your math class this semester!!!.....Although you did it all on your own as I haven't helped you at all this entire semester......If any of what we did last semester helped then I am very glad to hear about it....but we only covered a few topics actually....you must have learned the majority of the topics all on your own....awesome job!!
Fisgrrl, and swiminonanon....you guys are also awesome!....your kind words are an encouragement to all the geeks like me out there (and our numbers are growing!)...thanks for liking geeks too....when we were all younger it wasn't really that cool to be a geek....and girls weren't suppose to like geeks (and if they did and made it public....then their popularity at school could be in serious jeopardy)....seems like the tide may be finally turning these days....I also really like smart (and geeky) girls as well....My wife can routinely stomp me at our home jeopardy competitions....and she is also a fierce competitor when it comes to any kind of games (board games, card games..etc...)...she also plays crossword puzzles constantly.....I have read that continuing to challenge the brain throughout our entire lives may help people to live longer and healthier lives in the sense that the chances of contracting certain nuerological disorders late in life (like dementia) are significantly decreased.
