Wow, there are some really smart (or smart-sounding) people here.
I'm a bureaucratic archaeologist. Both my degrees (BA/MA) are in anthropology/archaeology, but I don't get out in the field much. I review projects for the Arizona Department of Transportation to ensure compliance with various state and federal historic preservation laws.
