Low pressure goggles

As a 83 year old nationally ranked swimmer, I am in pool for about 1.5 houres, 3x week minimum and my opthomoligest has recently suggested...quite strongly....that I only wear my race goggles during a race and not during practices

My eye pressure has been unstable recently and is affecting my vision...  Normally called glaucoma and not un typical at my age, but Dr "thinks" my races goggles may be contributing to the large pressure swings.

Any suggestions as to low pressure goggles or ??? Dont care about looks or drag. Just want to keep swimming.

  • Good luck with Aquasphere.  I purchased several - they're pricey - and they're just wallowing in the closet because they leak chronically, at least on my face.  Water drops in my goggles drive me crazy.  So I put up with the "racoon eyes" resulting from regular goggles on old skin.  However I know they work great for some people.  The fleshier and rounder your face, I think the better odds for you with Aquasphere.
