- My 24 year old grandson is losing his hair. Shampoo or cap don't help.. what to do?
Is he a swimmer? If so, are you saying that you think the hair loss is related to swimming in chlorinated pools?
“Approximately twenty five percent of men who suffer with male pattern baldness begin the painful process before they reach the age of twenty-one.”

Probably not fixable. As noted, no reversing male pattern baldness. Alopecia areata where it comes in patches, usually just results in baldness despite treatment. Some fungal infections can cause baldness in localized area. See a dermatologist but not liking his chances.
Rogaine early and often. It has helped a wee but woth me, but probablybhas just prevented further lessors than anything. At his age, it is pribabky just genetic, not swimming related
Have him look into PRP treatment. Helps to see a specialist and then see if he's a candidate for it.
