Outdoor practice this summer & COVID

Last summer our club had a very successful summer Masters workout program at a local private swim club (outdoor, 6-lane SCY pool). We had over 40 Masters swimmers sign up and offered 2 weekday and one Saturday morning practices.

We followed guidelines I found via USA Swimming and limited lanes to 2 - later 3 - swimmers. Swimmers were required to reserve a lane online and sign a waiver form that I downloaded from the USMS Web Site. Locker rooms were closed (bathrooms open).

Everything went smoothly. Here were are in 2021, COVID cases are higher in my state than last summer and there are no updated guidelines on USMS or USA Swimming web sites for organizing safe workouts. However, many - if not most - of us are vaccinated.

What are other Masters clubs doing this summer? Should I limit lanes to 3 swimmers or should we return to 2019 procedures? Is there any recent guidance from USMS? What does our insurance require? I'm disappointed that I can't find any updated info from USMS or USA Swimming.

Any advice or best practices would be appreciated thanks!
