Warming up at USMS Nationals

How about this year we don't dedicate so many lanes to slower swimmers in warm up. Last year there were about 4 end lanes out of the total 16 lanes dedicated to the slowest older swimmers. That's 25% of the entire warmup space ! We need a better way to keep the slow people in the slow lanes and the faster people in the faster lanes during warm up. Warm up turns worthless after the first 10 minutes. John Smith

  • okay, not to rain on all the fun in here, but i've got a question about warm-ups... i know the website says that no kickboards, hand paddles, or pull buoys are allowed in the competition pool or warm-up pool. but does anyone know if that's just for actual competition days or if that includes wednesday too??? and how strictly does this actually get enforced? thanks for any help!
