I was offered a presciption for steroids in 1952. I went to the library and found out what they were and I told my doctor no.
I knew all kinds of athletes who took them I don't think any one really benefitted from their use.

So did anyone besides me think that it was terrible that a guy who was suspended from professional tennis for (I think) nine months for using steroids almost won the French Open. Puerta has been caught with steroids in his system more than once. He never even contested the last tiem he was caught. How should people who are repeatedly caught using be treated?
