I was offered a presciption for steroids in 1952. I went to the library and found out what they were and I told my doctor no.
I knew all kinds of athletes who took them I don't think any one really benefitted from their use.

Blue Horn, I agree.....I have little knowledge of what studies determined what, with respect to steroid use....I DO know that enough data is out there to prove that EXCESS use of that junk can and will harm us....and I am indifferent to anyone who advocates the use of steroids unless under the direction of a Medical Dr. for medical reasons.
I do not have to be a fireman to know that if I stick my head in a hot oven, I am going to get burned.
