I was offered a presciption for steroids in 1952. I went to the library and found out what they were and I told my doctor no.
I knew all kinds of athletes who took them I don't think any one really benefitted from their use.

I just think steroids are evil.They serve their purpose in medical field and that is where they should be.Although I heard a lot about how small and very smart steroid usage can help some athletes avoid more injuries than if they did not take them(considering recovery time and physical stress of overtraining) I never touched them and never will.
I think even if you are against them it is good to know about them...
